On Friday weymouth primary school celebrated pink shirt day. We celebrated it cause in 2007 there was a new year 10 student who got harassed and threatened for wearing a pink shirt. So in Aotearoa we have been celebrating pink shirt day since 2009. Who invented pink shirt day ? David shepherd and Travis price.

On the holidays I went to Beres’ birthday. When Bere and Logan picked me up we listened to songs then when I got there we played on the playstation. Around 3:pm we went to the movies and bought snacks and some soda. The movie we were watching was KING KONG VS GODZILLA. It was super cool. The movie finished at 5:00 pm. Me and Bere wanted to go to the arcade but Tasi said no, so we went and got chicken and chips. When we got to Beres house we sang happy birthday and ate. At 8:am Logan and Bere dropped me off. 
Science/ Learning about space.
This year we are learning about space. We are reading books about it and researching. I noticed that the sun is over 4.5 billion years old also if you were traveling 100 kilometres per hour it would take 171 years to get there.

NZ Olympian/ Olympic Values Team work/ friendship/excellence/and respect when Richie had lunch with Queen Elizabeth there were two rules you cant speak until the queen does and you cant shake her hand until she offers you one. He saw famous people like LeBron James his favourite thing after weight lifting was getting free food. He saw Michael the fastest swimmer in the world having a cheeses burger competition. Richie did ballet also his highest dead lift was 252 kg he won medals from his commonwealth games it was silver and gold.

Malo Lelei my name is James I’m in Rm 14.I think I’ve been here at WPS for 3 years. I think WPS is special because there’s lovely teachers and our principal whaea sane. Also AROHA which means love. I love playing football with my friends Max Taha Satu Mooken, Lei Aj Atunaisa Locc and Lincoln. We are very lucky to have lunch providers because if we didn’t people with no lunch would be starving. There’s about 24 classes in Weymouth primary school. For me my teacher is kind, caring and really respectful and my two student teachers whaea Jenine and whaea cheryldene. My favourite thing about this school is everything.

On Monday room 14 went to James cook high school. When we arrived at James Cook high school they took us for a tour. We saw some boys and girls performing. The boys used the sticks and the girls used the poi. We saw some chairs and sat down we were doing himene and some boys were introducing themselves later on we went to the hall I saw a statue of James Cook I thought James Cook was a teacher some teachers gave us some chips to eat when we went in the hall the boys and girls were performing it was really loud I wasn’t even scared when the girls opened their eyes wide after all the performing we finally got to eat sausage sizzles it was yummy when it got to 1:00 we went back to school I was exhausted from all the dancing. When we came back to class we ate fruit.
